Quiles Mayor is the paid product: an auto-renewing yearly subscription (€59/year) with a 14-day free trial. It unlocks the remote-care link between your relative's phone and yours (cross-network family SOS, an up-to-date scam filter, encrypted sync, and support).

The subscription is purchased inside the app through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google) in-app purchase, which acts as the seller (Merchant of Record). Renewal, the amount charged, and billing are handled by the store using your account. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel beforehand.

The elder app (Quiles Mayor on their device) and the child app can be used for free on their own; what the subscription activates and maintains is the remote-care link.

You can cancel any time from the App Store or Google Play; you keep access until the end of the period already paid for, and you won't be charged again. If you cancel during the 14-day free trial, nothing is charged.

Refunds are requested and resolved through the store (Apple or Google) under their policy, since the store processes the payment. This does not affect any non-waivable EU consumer rights. For any questions, write to [email protected].

• The app works as described on quiles.app and on the App Store and Google Play.
• No advertising, tracking, or external analytics SDKs will be added while your subscription is active.
• We do not sell, share, or transfer your subscription or information to third parties.

• That Quiles replaces an emergency service, medical alert line, or healthcare. The family SOS alerts the people you configure; it does not call emergency services for you and does not guarantee a response.
• Instant or guaranteed delivery of an SOS alert or location when the elder's phone is out of coverage, out of battery, or offline. The relay works on a best-effort basis.
• Continued support for features that depend on Android or iOS APIs Google or Apple may change or deprecate. We carry mitigation plans, but cannot guarantee outcomes against platform changes.

Quiles' aggregate liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription in the preceding twelve (12) months. This does not affect any non-waivable consumer rights in your jurisdiction.

Quiles Mayor is intended for an older person to receive help from their family with their knowledge, in a family-care setting. Using the app to surveil anyone without their consent is expressly prohibited and violates the Apple App Store and Google Play stalkerware policies.

Material changes to these terms will be published at quiles.app/en/terms and announced in the app or by email to active subscribers.

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts in Barcelona, subject to any non-waivable consumer rights in your jurisdiction.

For the entire life of your subscription, and as a binding clause of these Terms, Quiles commits not to implement the following:

• Reading the content of messages (WhatsApp, SMS, email, DMs).
• Analysing the older person's content via AI or third-party processing.
• A web dashboard showing the older person's activity.
• Usage telemetry or analytics sent to Quiles.
• External analytics SDKs inside the app (Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, Segment, or others).
• Continuous geolocation of the older person.
• User accounts hosted on Quiles servers.
• In-app advertising.
• Selling or sharing personal data with third parties.

The full list, with reasoning, is published at /en/anti-features and forms an integral part of this contract. Any change to these commitments requires notice in the app or by email to active subscribers at least thirty (30) days in advance, and entitles each subscriber to cancel without penalty.
